My Personal Computer Catastrophe
~ by Samir Selmanovic
It has not been a good week.
My hard drive passed away. When I told my wife Vesna that demons had destroyed my computer, she said, "I think God did it!"
I had been spending way too much time with my computer and way too little time with God and Scripture. Facing incredible changes in our lives as we prepare to leave for New York City, I had been taking life into my own hands, trying to resolve all the issues that must be settled before we leave. Motives were pure enough, but my life had become unbalanced.
This post is to let you know that, among other things, I lost a lot of information in my broken computer: including many email addresses and some telephone numbers.
Also, my email address had to be changed couple of weeks ago, so your recent e-mail message might never
have found me. My apologies.
Please don't wait for me to answer an email you might have sent to any of my old addresses. Instead, contact me again by clicking here.
I am anxious to reestablish contact with you. It is the prayers and contacts of my circle of friends that keeps me going.
P.S. Yes, I now have a very fine backup system in place on my new computer. Live and learn.
