Advisory Council Member: Christoph Silber
Christoph Silber was born in Berlin, Germany in 1971, Chris has been working as a screenwriter in Europe and the US since the mid 90’s. Before that he studied American and French literature and linguistics and worked as an actor, music journalist and literary translator. His work as a writer spans films such as GOOD BYE, LENIN, plays staged in Berlin and Vienna and TV productions for networks such as PBS and the BBC and screenplay consulting for movie ARRANGED. He has tutored at film schools, held workshops on writing and visual storytelling and is a member of the German Film Academy. His directing debut, the short ICEWIND, was selected for several festivals in the US. Chris lives in New York. Raised in a cross-cultural family, he has a passion for projects that help to bridge the gaps of culture and religion.
