Who will be the clergy in the Faith House?
We currently have one clergy member, Samir Selmanovic. By February 2008 we hope he will be joined by 2 or 3 other clergy from a non-Christian religious group. If you know of anyone who might be a good fit for us, please email our Program Coordinator, Lauralea Banks.
Who will hold the Faith House accountable?
At the beginning, Faith House will be supervised by the Selmanovic Family Support Team and Lauralea's Support Team. A supervising board will be formed within a year, elected by the Family Support Teams and Faith House members. Supervision role of the Family Support Teams will cease at that time.
Can you be part of Faith House and a member of a church, mosque, or a synagogue at the same time?
Yes.
What aspects of theology will be shared at the Faith House?
A theology of time and the blessing of a weekly Sabbath; a theology of hope and expectations of coming God; a theology of stewardship and a wholistic lifestyle. But there will be no requirement of any particular belief to be a part of Faith House.
Will theologies of different groups change as a result of participating in Faith House?
We hold that in matters of theology, the future is open as it always has been. God has been changing all of our theologies over time. They are mere interpretations of the truth that is unchanging but ever growing. Seeking the .

Can I be a member of the Faith House although I live far from New York City? We are exploring a possibility of Supporting Membership. Let us know if you have any observations, ideas, or convictions. Are all donations tax deductible? Yes, every gift is tax-deductible.
